We are Anna Brown and Pat Robinson. We met almost 10 years ago in the fall of 2001 as we were starting our parenting journeys. Anna’s two girls were 1 and 3 and Pat’s son was an infant, in arms. We had an immediate connection. We both enjoy deep discussions and teasing out every nuance. Over the years we have explored the ideas of living consensually, who we want to be as parents and partners, natural health and everything in between. We’ve come to believe we are just two sides of the same brain. 🙂 We are also complete opposites but in a delightful ying and yang way that has helped up both stretch, grow and broaden our understanding of the other.
We are excited to have this new forum, here and on Facebook to share our musings and philosophical discussions. Thanks for checking it out.
Anna lives in Charlotte with her husband David and their 2, always unschooled, daughters (‘98 and ‘99). Together they explore the world around them, living and learning together every day. Her passions include sustainable living, holistic health, backyard chickens and living consensually. She enjoys writing and sharing about the joy that can be found in parenting and in living present in each moment.
Pat has been married to her high school sweetheart for 28 years. She loves to garden, travel and to advocate connected parenting. Pat is passionate about holistic health after being a critical care nurse for 17 years. She hosts Heal Thyself!, a website focused on traditional foods and natural healing. Pat loves to share how fun it is to live and learn with their son (and their eight cats)!
